The Middle East
We've only been once to the Middle East. We flew from London to Dubai,
crossing the Middle East, on our way to the Maldives Islands in the Indian
Ocean. We had a lot of fun at the "Fly by Dubai" duty free shopping at
2am! The cash machine that dispensed money from Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and
Quatar was the highlight of our stopover.
Maldives
Seth decided that it was time for a lay-on-the-beach, do nothing vacation.
After looking at winter sun brochures, these tiny islands stood out as
the perfect place. We spent a week at a Hilton Resort on Rangali
Island in January 1997.
